Maxine (21) is a student at the University of Salford currently studying Interior Design. After university she wants to stay in Manchester and get into the Interior design industry. SP: How did you come across Smart-Pig? What did you think on your initial impressions?

Maxine: ‘’My friend actually told me about Smart-Pig as he was having some issues with money and at the time I needed it. He offered it when I told about what I was going through. Initially I thought it was a very approachable website because it seemed not very scary or daunting because it’s run by students’’

SP: Why did you apply for the loan?

Maxine: ‘’During the first year I suffered some problems with money, especially with my course there are a lot of things you have to buy in preparation for it which I wasn’t aware of before I started uni.’’

SP: How easy did you find the application process?

SP: Would you recommend Smart-Pig to your friends? If so, why?

Maxine: ‘’I definitely would recommend it to friends because that’s something I really do trust and I’ve used it a few times and I think that if you’re ever experiencing any problems with finances or anything unexpected definitely or if it’s an emergency because it’s so quick.’’

SP: Overall, how did you find the customer experience?

Maxine: ‘’The customer service was really really good there have been times where I’ve had issues with the application and put something wrong and someone has emailed me to let me know straight away’’

SP: Are there any particularly memorable things from your experience with us?
