What are the Feefo Trusted Service awards?

Created by Feefo, Trusted Service status is only awarded to those businesses that use Feefo to collect genuine ratings and reviews from their customers. Those that meet the high standard – based on the number of reviews they have collected and their average rating – are awarded this badge of honour. We feel very proud and honoured to have received this award from Feefo. To be recognised for delivering an exceptional experience to our customers is a great achievement. The Trusted Service award has always been about recognising those companies that go the extra mile and at Smart-Pig our customers have always come first.

In fact, our customers (students) are the reason this company was founded. Co-founders Tom and Shreiff started Smart-Pig out of their uni bedrooms in protest to the unfair lending services of other lenders at the time.

In recognition of our founding ethos and drive to give students a better deal with advances of their student loan, Smart-Pig.com was one of the first Short-term loan companies (beating Wonga, Satsuma, Quick Quid and Sunny) to become fully authorised by the FCA to lend to students in receipt of Student Finance.

We’ve been working hard to ensure our customers receive the best service possible and being able to listen to, understand and respond to their needs enabled us to help even more students out of a tight spot in 2017.
