If you have found yourself here chances are we’ve asked you for a bank statement to support your Smart-Pig loan application. No need to fret, it’s very simple to get your bank statement online or via your bank’s mobile app in just a few clicks.

The reason we are requesting this information from you is to get an idea if your loan is affordable for you. We would be looking for your monthly bills like rent, utilities and shopping the things you need. We are not concerned with your spending outside of the essentials, so if you ordered takeaway last night, we won’t judge you.

To make things even easier we have listed the process for the main banks and apps below.

HSBC

Getting a mobile statement

  1. Log on to the HSBC UK Mobile Banking app on your device
  2. Select the account you need to access
  3. Select ‘Statements’ on the right-hand side of the screen
  4. From here you can view your statements select the one you need and download it
  5. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF.

Getting an online statement

  1. Log on to your HSBC online account
  2. Select My Banking
  3. Select the ‘Statements’ section under the ‘documents’ section
  4. You can view your historic statements and select each to download
  5. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF.

Lloyds

Getting an online statement

  1. Logon to your Lloyds online/mobile account
  2. To view your statements, you need to select the account you want to access and then go to the account homepage
  3. Select view statements
  4. You can click and download a statement,
  5. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF.

Halifax

Getting an online statement

  1. Logon to your Halifax online/mobile account
  2. Select the account you need to access and go to the homepage
  3. Select view statement from the homepage
  4. Select view statement history for the last 3 months
  5. You can export the statement you wanted to select for download
  6. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF

Bank of Scotland

Getting an online statement

  1. Logon to your Bank of Scotland digital/mobile banking account
  2. Select ‘Statements’ from the options of the left of the screen
  3. Click ‘View statements, PDF’s and certificates of interest’
  4. Chose the corresponding account you want to access
  5. A full statement will be displayed after making that selection
  6. Click ‘Download statement as PDF’ to export
  7. Click open when prompted
  8. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF

Barclays

Getting an online statement

  1. Log on to your Barclays online/mobile account
  2. Click ‘Show my latest transactions’
  3. Click ‘view all transactions’
  4. All your transactions will be listed there
  5. Click ‘Download as PDF’
  6. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF

Santander

Getting an online statement

  1. Login into Santander online/mobile banking
  2. Click on the account you need to access
  3. Click the ‘statements and documents’ from the left-hand menu
  4. Click on the statement you wish to access, another window will open
  5. Click and ‘save as’ and name to your desired location
  6. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF

Nationwide

Getting an online statement

  1. Logon to your Nationwide online/mobile account
  2. Select the account you want to access
  3. Click ‘Statement’ on the left side of the screen
  4. Click ‘Archive’
  5. You will find a list of your statements on this page
  6. Select the statement you need and download as PDF
  7. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF

Monzo

Getting a mobile statement

  1. Click on the account tab
  2. Tap your name at the top and scroll down to ‘statement history’
  3. Select the statement month you want
  4. Download your statement as a PDF
  5. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF

TSB

Getting an online statement

  1. Log in to your TSB online banking
  2. Select the account you need to access
  3. Select ‘print’ which will open a new window with your statement in print view
  4. Save as PDF to download and save to your desktop
  5. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF


Natwest

Getting an online statement

  1. Log in to Natwest online banking
  2. From the main menu on your home page, select ‘Statements’
  3. Select ‘View, save and print PDF statements and certificates of interest’
  4. Select the account you need the statement from
  5. There will be a list of statements, select the one you want to download
  6. Select ‘Download statement (PDF)’
  7. Logon to your Smart-Pig account and add a document or you can respond to our email regarding your bank statement with the statement attached as a PDF
