Summer Applications

You can apply for a loan over the summer period with Smart-Pig if you're going back to university in September. 

If you don't have your 2022/23 Entitlement Letter yet you can apply using a screenshot from your student finance account, we will need to see the homepage of your Student Finance account showing that you have applied for 2022/23 Student Finance. 

If you have your entitlement letter, use option 2 instead.

Option 1: If you don't have your Notification of Entitlement for 2022/23 yet

  1. Go to www.logon.slc.co.uk and sign in.
  2. On the homepage, “print screen” on your desktop or mobile device. Please ensure the image includes the account name, student reference number and status of the application (see example).
  3. Upload the file during your Smart-Pig application.

Option 2: If you have your Notification of Entitlement for 2022/23

  1. Go to www.logon.slc.co.uk and sign in.
  2. On the homepage, click “letters and emails” at the top right.
  3. Open the most recent “Notification of Entitlement” letter.
  4. Click on the PDF and save it to your computer or mobile device.
  5. Upload the file during your Smart-Pig application.

If you have a paper copy of the letter, you can upload a picture during the application instead.
